Local processing

Audio converter, in your browser

Your file stays in this browser. FFmpeg.wasm loads only when you start a job.

No upload

The FFmpeg core is downloaded from jsDelivr on first use. Your media never leaves this tab.

Ready when you are.

Progress, logs, and the result download appear here. Conversions use real FFmpeg output.

What you should know

  • MP3 uses LAME and is broadly compatible.
  • M4A uses AAC; WAV is uncompressed PCM; OGG uses Vorbis where the build supports it.
  • Bitrate is fixed at a sensible default rather than pretending to offer every encoder setting.
  • Cancellation terminates the FFmpeg worker and frees its memory.

Privacy of local processing

Your file is read with the browser File API and written into FFmpeg's in-memory filesystem inside this tab. The only third-party request is the pinned FFmpeg core from jsDelivr, loaded the first time you run a job. Your file bytes are never sent to Fetchora or jsDelivr. Closing or reloading the tab clears the in-memory filesystem.
